Happy Election Day! Polls are open until 8PM. If you say you oppose ICE and stand with immigrant communities, then you CANNOT vote for Angie Craig who voted for the Laken Riley Act and thanked ICE.

I had a wonderful day celebrating our community today! I attended Sabathani’s 60th Anniversary Block Party, enjoyed some amazing music and food and celebrated 60 years of Sabathani’s service to South Minneapolis.

🚨🚨🚨EHB talks MPD 🚨🚨🚨 I am extremely concerned about the impact that MPD spending will have on our property taxes and budget priorities this year. Now is the time to speak up to stop MPD cost growth from consuming the investments we need in our communities.

Ward 8 showed up and showed out for National Night Out last night! I had a great time connecting with neighbors and celebrating our wonderful neighborhoods. Thank you to everyone who attended and made these block parties possible.

That was a pretty awesome NNO but I am EXHAUSTED. My neighbors are incredible, and I had such a good time talking to them that I talked myself out! I love living here so much! (also shoutout to @sorenwithward8.bsky.social for stopping by and chatting with me about some neighborhood concerns)

Neighbors, I am looking forward to connecting with many of you tomorrow evening for National Night Out! There are over 100 block parties planned in Ward 8! I will be joining as many block parties and gatherings as possible, I apologize in advance for the ones I won’t be able to make.

I had a great time connecting with neighbors door-knocking for candidates who have our backs and are ready to hold ICE accountable for terrorizing our communities! There are just 15 days until the August 11th primary.

Our city is reeling from mass shootings and gun violence this past weekend. I want you to know that the City takes this very seriously. My colleagues and I are taking steps to help ensure all of our neighborhoods are safer.

I am excited to be working with community leaders towards a pocket park on 38th Street & 4th Ave. We had a great meeting about this project today. This community-driven project will bring much needed investment and attention to the 38th street corridor.
