As a matter of fact, my writing is directly influenced by translation. I've spoken an exhausting number of times about Murakami's influence on my style, but I do not normally read his original releases. The style I draw from is partly his, but just as much Jay Rubin's, or Philip Gabriel's...
I see that Bushiroad has, once again, decided to treat translation as a barely-tolerable chore rather than the valuable form of art that it is.
I wonder if I could make it through all of Promptober while writing exclusively Tomoraana. It would certainly be one way to prove my devotion.
My goodness. I'm now convinced everyone has to see this show, if only for the latest episode. That was some of the best writing I've had the pleasure of seeing in anime in a while.

I remember Hina and Hina once did an out-of-character episode together, and they also agreed that Tomori and Raana alone in-character would be an unmitigated disaster. (But, this is precisely why they should do it.)

I'm still truly not sure how I feel about the Yumemita anime as a story, but unexpectedly, I've been thoroughly charmed by their real-life streamer counterparts.
Umiri may make her look good by comparison, but we mustn't forget that Taki-chan's eating is also very disordered.
It feels a little strange for me, holding the position that I claim to as a sort of Tomoraana ambassador, to not "ride the wave" and write something related to the monumental 'Guitar Touching Event'. It's just, I know I'd let it get out of hand and become another arduous project...
I would not be here were it not for coldcat/็ซๅ็ซ. Shortly after finishing the MyGO anime I was half-heartedly entertaining the idea of Tomori/Raana more due to my contrarian penchant for less-appreciated pairings than for anything concrete...
...Yes, that's right. My Tomori/Raana relationship level is at 999. I've even unlocked their unique combination attack (ๅฟ ๆฎบๆ).
I've just finished watching the anime "serial experiments lain," and... well, I feel rather foolish for having put it off for so long. It is fantastic, and more than deserves its legendary status.

Murakami-san has led a very different life to mine, and truthfully his taste is rather far from my own, but I find it hard to put down the books he writes because they are overflowing with so much genuine sentiment, and this connects with me far more than any single cultural common point could...
