I will say that I find it weird that a lot of people are like "this is the moment that will tip us into violence" when a Minnesota politician was assassinated in her home 2 months ago and someone literally shot Trump in the head last year. how exactly is charlie kirk the tipping point

We used to call this stupidity. There were smart people and stupid people and we let the smart people do the things they were good at and the stupid people were taken care of and didn't need to worry about what the smart people were doing. But now we let the stupid people think they're smart.

i went from “i don’t do fiction” to over consuming doomsday fiction i.e. Last of Us and the absolutely incredible (and VERY believable) capitalism endgame lore of Cyberpunk 2077. and Absolute Transmetropolitan gets delivered tomorrow. i need some sort of comedy in my life.

in a country that isn’t dedicated to death and destruction, a mass shooting would make everything stop and have people trying to prevent this from ever happening again. in the united states, it’s just a friday.
