Sometimes you just have to stare into something terrifyingly ancient

A deer antler headdress (or frontlet) unearthed at Star Carr in North Yorkshire, produced by the Mesolithic inhabitants of that site roughly 10,000 years ago. The prongs of the antler have been deliberately shortened into stumps. Two holes have been punched into the skull for a thread or cord to pass through, for a person to tie the headdress on.

Tempted to buy all these old Hepworth's clothes tags and arrange them into poems

Two Vinted listings of a collection of small rectangular ivory-coloured clothes tags from Hepworth's. The photo on the left contains tags that read: Covert Cloth, Cavalry Twill, 16" Bottoms, Flared, Terylene & Wool, Trevira/Wool, Boys Lumber Suit, Lambswool, Set In Sleeve, West of England, Lined, Brown Pin Stripe, Button 2 Style, Black-Brown, Self Belt, Genuine Suede, S.B. Chester, Terylene & Wool, Verticals [the last tag is obscured by the Vinted heart/like button].

In love with creative/unusual Vinted listings
