Some half-shaped thoughts on current gov't crisis. People in the Labour space need to let go of whether this is fair or not on Starmer - not only because it is not constructive and adds to the rancour, but because it has the potential to muddy the clarity that they need in selecting the next PM. 1/

All very depressing. Odds seem stacked in favour of Reform with only passing media attention of party and leader funding. And the mad orange baby sucking growth from the economy will make it harder come the GE to resist calls for change.

If the Strait of Hormuz opens again, we are back to where we started, just thousands of deaths later and many billions poorer. And all because there’s a mad man in the White House who we are sending the King to ego stroke next week.

What a great thing to wake up to. Proof that progressives politics outweigh division and hate. A bad night for Labour who need to learn lessons very quickly. Well done the Greens.
