Doctors say that you should eat a balanced diet that includes whole grains and fresh fruits and vegetables. A guy who snorts cocaine off toilet seat seats and doesn’t wipe his ass says you should subsist entirely on sauerkraut and steak. For a busy eaters it can be hard to know who to trust.
Just a note that @jbendery.bsky.social is 100% worth following. Always finds stories like these that matter, and yet are a bit under the radar.
Former J6 federal prosecutors are begging senators -- mostly GOPers, but a handful of Dems are in there, too -- to stop confirming election deniers to lifetime federal courts seats. “Please stop poisoning our courts." www.huffpost.com/entry/live-u...

El-Sayed: "Mike Rogers is a guy who wants to put a data center in your backyard so he can make himself feel a little more manly by making an AI video ... he's a guy who went back to Florida so he could lick every single boot Donald Trump owns to bet for his endorsement."
El-Sayed: "Mike, I'm gonna say it right now, I know you're gonna say no because you're a coward: Five debates, alright? ... By the time we're done, you are not gonna have safe quarter from people holding you accountable to what you've done for them here in Michigan. We will send you back to Florida"

The bigger question emerging from the reflecting pool case is what to do with the lawyers. Had they pursued the case, disbarment would be an appropriate case. Still they secured an indictment from the grand jury and that was almost certainly through deceit and misrepresentation which requires study.

Getting smoking out of public spaces, particularly restaurants. I remember 1986, and at that time, smoking was omnipresent. It was inescapable.
I shared an inventilated office space with a boss and his tobacco habit. Come to think, I’m not sure which was more toxic.
I had my first office job in 1987 & I had an ashtray on my desk (in an open area office!).
Statistically, movies with both Tom Holland and Zendaya have a better than average chance of being pretty damn good.
Just when we thought we couldn’t like him more.
They could always sign up to give comment at a public meeting.
