It Was Just an Accident (2025) is a great movie. Director Jafar Panahi, who made the film without permission from the Iranian authorities, strikes a brilliant balance between political thriller and black comedy - and the brief reference to Waiting for Godot says a lot. Loved it #Filmksy #Moviesky 📽️

Watched Twinless (2025) last night, a dark psychological comedy written and directed by James Sweeney, who also stars. It's a strange film about grief, loneliness, authenticity and forgiveness that swings between funny and unsettling. Not groundbreaking, but worth a watch. #Filmsky #Moviesky 📽️

Just watched The Assessment (2024), a #scifi movie set in a future where parenthood is strictly controlled. It's a bit of a mess, doesn't make much sense and chucks ideas around without nailing any of them. But it's fun enough with a very quirky performance by Alicia Vikander. #Moviesky #Filmsky 📽️

The Assessment (2024)

Watched Undertone (2025), a Canadian #horror that keeps things fresh by going heavy on audio, building a nice atmosphere of dread. Has strong notes of Paranormal Activity and a hint of Blair Witch, with some genuinely creepy moments. A good late-night watch with the lights out. #Filmsky #Moviesky 📽️

Watched The Christophers (2025), a Steven Soderbergh film that begins like a low-key heist caper but transforms into a movie about contemporary #art, human expression and the desire to be remembered. Ian McKellen and Michaela Coel are great together. Loved every second of it ❤️ #Filmsky #Moviesky 📽️

Happy birthday to Michael J. Fox, born #OTD in 1961🎈Was a real childhood hero as Marty McFly in the Back to the Future movies and Scott Howard in Teen Wolf (1985). Also good in Brian De Palma's Casualties of War (1989) and the sitcom Spin City (I think... bit hazy on that one). #Filmsky #Moviesky 📽️

Back to the Future (1985)Teen Wolf (1985)

Watched Wuthering Heights (2026), a glossy pop-video-meets-fairy-tale version of Brontë's classic. It's kind of awful, kind of fascinating, a stripped-down butchering of the book aimed at... Charlie xcx fans? Some nice sets and visuals, and enjoyable enough as a popcorn movie. #Filmsky #Moviesky 📽️

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist." Ghostbusters was released #OTD in 1984. What a film: one of the greatest teams ever assembled in a movie😀, Sigourney Weaver looking hot as hell, Slimer being brilliant, Rick Moranis, and the iconic Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Absolute classic ❤️ #Filmsky #Moviesky 📽️

Happy birthday to the brilliant Bruce Dern, born #OTD in 1936🎈What a great actor - intense, versatile and prolific. Some highlights include Silent Running, Coming Home, The 'Burbs and Nebraska (for which he was nominated for the Best Actor Oscar and should have won, I reckon) ❤️ #Filmsky #Moviesky 📽️

Just watched Marty Supreme. What a performance by Chalamet as the single-minded, manipulative, morally dubious, table tennis-playing Marty - a guy who's a bit of a dick but has enough charisma to keep us on his side (well, maybe not all of us). Fun, quirky and original. 🏓 #Moviesky #Filmsky 📽️
