Don’t be scared to try to draw something out of your comfort zone! You can learn lots and at times it can apply to things you’re already comfortable drawing. Artistic growth happens when you try something new and see where it takes you ⭐️

Drink enough water, do some stretching breaks when you sit for hours, literally exercise in any capacity you are able to - your back will thank you. Be kind to yourself and remember that your health is first and anything else is less important than that. Is that art or general advice? Yes 👍

Be nicer to your older art and self. It may make you cringe or feel embarrassed now but, it was a part of your journey. Creating that was an important step to becoming the artist you are now! Especially if it was something deeply personal and from the heart!

Rest and stretch your drawing hands every now and then, and don't push them to the brink of possible permanent damage. They're one of your most valuable assets when creating, after all.

Growth will never come from your comfort zone. When you will feel discomfort drawing something, it stretches your psyche. That stretch expands your range, versatility, and understanding. You might be anxious at first, but you won’t be afraid when it’s done and over. bsky.app/profile/gali...
