Whilst the shop's actual 3rd Birthday was in June, this is the 3rd Anniversary of our physical store! Thank you to everyone that's supported us over these past 3 years! You're all greatly appreciated. And a huge thank you to the volunteers that keep TOQS running - you're all absolute stars. ~ El 💚

Whatever you do, please don’t stop reading. Read for joy. Read for education. Read for resistance. Read banned books. Read books by marginalized authors. Read about experiences that differ from your own. Just. Keep. Reading.

Our hotly anticipated Queer horror reads arrived this week - perfect for the run up to spooky season! ...and we have more hauntingly good reads dropping next week, so keep your eyes peeled 👀 (P.S. These two are definitely worth checking out - and are actually our current staff picks!)

It's been a busy weekend for the TOQS team, but we are pleased to say that we are now Open again! We're still trying to get back all the titles that were lost, so we apologise if the read you're after isn't available. We look forward to seeing you all again! ~ El

Hi All! Unfortunately we will be closed today, and possibly over the weekend. We were flooded during the storm last night and are currently without power and assessing the damage to the store and our books. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

Hi All! We're trading at Plymouth Community Pride's Pride Market at St Saviours Hall tomorrow! If you're attending any of the events across the city, please feel free to pop by and say Hi! The shop will be open as usual, so don't worry if we don't have the book you're looking for at our stall!
