Nicholas Murray@njemurray.bsky.social · 10mo agoNotable that former @tormentafc.bsky.social HC Ian Cameron is joining Ben Pirmann's staff at the Charleston Battery. Both Pirmann's past two first assistants - Leigh Veidman (Spokane Velocity), Devin Rensing (Las Vegas Lights) - are now HCs as well. www.charlestonbattery.com/news/2026/01...
Spielman played every single minute of Charlotte’s 2025 season, and likely would’ve in 2024 as well if not for a single red card. Invaluable experience joining Tormenta’s back line in ‘26. Fun fact: Spielman played (and scored) against the inaugural Tormenta PDL squad in 2016 with Peachtree City

New Mexico United acquires Niall Reid-Stephen via transfer from South Georgia Tormenta FC
Barbados international earned USL League One All-League honors after recording 13 goals, 7 assists in 2025 campaign

Enormous move for New Mexico. United clicked when they leaned into a slightly more vertical approach that maximized speed on the flanks, and Reid-Stephen's mix of pace with end product is made for that kind of soccer. He should excel in the Championship.

Key cog in Tormenta's late season resurgence being transferred to New Mexico United. Hate to see his talents leave but wishing him nothing but success going forward.
