There's so much to like about Forward Madison right now, but I'm loving the combination of defensive energy and progression Roman Torres and Jackson Castro bring through the pivot. Good example here where the mid-block 5-4-1 tees up Torres to play a through ball...
Looking at last night's win-over-Locomotive status, and thinking about last week's @backheeled.com This League! show (link below). Resident Smartest Man @usltactics.com in USL with the paradigm-blasting comment: "Does a box-touch matter if it comes in a box that has 10 men in it?
Maybe not the cleanest passing play, but this is a really good example of how New Mexico can go from 0 to 60 in a flash. Nice bit of carriage from Zico Bailey in the midfield to make it happen.
