To sum up this update: We have removed some unnecessary steps so that you can upload the most complex of submissions much easier and quicker. [5/6]

New image / photo adding interface: Adding images (artwork or photos) to your submission has also gotten a makeover. Pimp up your story with some nice cover art or upload a page long comic even easier. [4/6]

New Story Editor: Writing a story? Take a look at the new editor which makes it very easy to see which chapter / part you're editing in a multi-part story. [3/6]

New Submission Uploader and Editor: As you can see, everything is a lot easier to find and there's fewer steps involved. A much cleaner and refined workflow. [2/6]

We will take #SoFurry offline for about a day on June 13th. Besides some #maintenance, we will also #update our UI/ front end after collecting your feedback after out initial launch! We've shown parts of the new UI in previous news updates but here are the final versions! [1/6]

There's some spicy database changes pending that should improve performance. SFX has mostly been running great, but we want to fix those few overload situations as soon as possible.

SoFurry will have a short downtime of an hour or two for maintenance to improve the general performance and stability.

My hobby is to add the word "metric" in front of imperial units. Thanks to the metric pound they can never be sure if it's actually a thing or not.

We also have to resize the storage array from the beta sizing before going live, and fix a few other issues. But we're getting there! Expect more news soon! We know it took a while but the goal is in sight! Thanks for sticking with us ❤️ [2/2]

#SoFurryServerMoveUpdate We're in the process of fixing some important bugs before opening the site. SF2 users who never logged into SFX should now be able to recover their account if their password doesn't work (provided their email still works). [1/2]

I know we haven't been communicating enough about the recent progress in bringing #SoFurry back online - there's gonna be some updates in a few hours. We also have a dedicated sfx-discussions channel on Discord.

Every single update of Firefox now re-enables the sidebar. Time to switch to LibreWolf.

3) Backup server is up and running, has SF2 db loaded & working for the migration. This server will also get approx. $1000 worth of SSDs added once SFX is going. 4) Noticed the games changing every day on sofurry.com? Thanks! We know this takes longer but we wanna do this the right way [3/3]

2) Firewall is almost ready, after some issues initially, it seems to work now. We're gonna do some more testing just to be sure, then send it to the data center. If this firewall shouldn't work out, there is a fallback solution but that's an additional $1500 - which we try to prevent [2/3]

#SoFurryServerMoveUpdate 1) The SFX server gets moved soon. We've already received the neccessary network config information for the new data center. No concrete date yet, but we hope it's not much longer now [1/3]

Yesterday it was announced that GitHub's CEO resigned and GitHub would be folded into CoreAI. I got this email 10 minutes ago. Microsoft has updated the TOS of many of their products and it includes a large section on AI and the use of your "content".

We mourn the recent passing of @ofthewilds.bsky.social, one of the most prolific writers on SoFurry. You will be missed :(
