Regarding custom art; I'm planning to have website up that'll allow players to create custom art and package it into a save file that they can flash onto the cartridge. These players can then share this art with anyone else they like (looking at conventions specifically).

I was planning to have this feature work over the CGB's IR port, but honestly there's no reason for it to not work over Serial/Link port instead. It'll mean if people play on AGBs that they can use this feature.
