Podobné příběhy by pro nás měly být jasným varováním, abychom se zamysleli nad tím, jak moc si náš život stavíme na závislosti na autech. Podobná věc se může stát kdykoliv a není těžké si představit, že místo o benzínu ta paní mluví o heroinu. Vlastně je to možná snáz pochopitelné.

Docela zajímavá úvaha, která se dá spojit s ještě jednou věcí - čím víc se uzavíráme na soukromé zahrady k soukromým bazénům a grilům, tím víc se okruh lidí, se kterými se stýkáme, stává prostorově rozptýlený, daný spíš tím, kdo byli naši spolužáci nebo kde bydlí naši spolupracovníci.
