I just took action to support the release of the Pittsburgh Zoo elephants to a sanctuary. Angeline, Savanna, Tasha, Victoria, and Zuri deserve freedom, peace and dignity—not a lifetime of suffering in captivity. Join me in speaking up to #FreeThePittsburghElephants. app.sosha.ai/s/JD67UnKJ

@stevescully.bsky.social You are the sanest and most calm journalist on POTUS. I really appreciate your coverage so far of this new "war" -- thanks!

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

I know it must seem that predation by cats is “natural,” but in the context of the natural world, it is not. Domestic cats are an introduced species, and birds did not evolve to understand how to evade them. Keeping cats indoors or on a leash is safest for everybody.

Domestic #cats take an unfathomable toll on #birds, killing ~2.4 billion annually in the USA alone. This year, help birds by taking the pledge to keep your cat indoors! 🏠 Keeping cats indoors protects birds while also leading to a longer, healthier life for your beloved pet. 😻 bit.ly/4afVhTD

I'm totally OK with being called woke. It just means that I'm showing off my green flags. Happy to follow others with green flags. #woke

A recent photo of the river Exe and some trees in the mist. Sorry, I apologise for posting Exe/tree/mist views on Bluesky.
