And a game I recently finished from my @caneandrinse.com #GamingBacklog is #MadMax. I didn't even know this game came out the same year as #FuryRoad let alone existed. An open world driving survival adventure game? Sign me up! And I loved it. The story was tragic but great. Well worth it!

Feedback for #DragonQuest on @caneandrinse.com I swear that @itsleah.bsky.social did not write my feedback! LOL Guessing we just had a similar history with Dragon Quest vs Final Fantasy and Zelda games (I have a Zelda tattoo of the master sword on my arm for example).
My feedback for #UnicornOverlord as read out on @caneandrinse.com Yup! Earned my 50th Platinum trophy on this one. Loved this game. I had never heard of it prior to playing it for the pod. Definitely recommend it! A great strategy / tactical RPG. Don't let the name dissuade you.
My feedback for #NoMan'sSky as feat. @caneandrinse.com I expected a simple space exploration game. I did not expect engaging story beats, philosophical quandaries, sub-par base building and mining, space battles.. etc. I had trouble with the Switch version. Play on PC or PS5.
From the Exclusive @caneandrinse.com podcast for June '26. Jay's future tombstone will read: Death by Creme Eggs.
My feedback for #Frogger as feat on @caneandrinse.com Fun old school arcade game when played in short sessions. Doesn't keep my attention for too long. But most important question: Why does a frog that can swim die when they go in water????
So I never played the original #Titanfall as multiplayer online only games are not my normal type of game to play. I’m playing #Titanfall2 single player campaign for the upcoming @caneandrinse.com episode and I’m really loving it. Especially the level Cause and Effect. Just. Wow
Over 76 hours spent on a game I would have never considered playing if not for @caneandrinse.com. And I earned the Platinum on it. Safe to say I fully Caned and Rinsed this one. I had never heard of #UnicornOverlord prior to playing for upcoming pod episode. I'll save comments for the pod. ;)
My #ThreeWordReview for #LocoRoco series featured on @caneandrinse.com My feedback wasn't read out on this episode, but it may have been too lengthy. Plus I've left a lot of feedback on recent episodes so I hope I'm not hogging all the feedback vibes. Delightfully weird platforming indeed.
My feedback for #DayOfTheTentacle featured on @caneandrinse.com. Point and click games are not my normal type of game. But this one is charming. And I enjoyed it so much I completed #ManiacMansion within this game. Great humor, play this one. Don't be afraid to use a guide when you get stuck.
Happy 30th, the N64. Please enjoy our dedicated podcast to celebrate. Also on Spotify, YouTube etc.
Console Special No.12 - Nintendo 64
In this special we remember the awesome power of the Nintendo 64 during its brief but bright spell in the limelight in the mid-to-late 90s.

Nintendo 64 turns 30 years old today in Japan! Yes, the Japanese box art is just that cool.
My feedback for #AliensFireteamElite as read out on the @caneandrinse.com pod. I didn't like this one. But to be fair I played it single player and this was a game made for multiplayer.
Thread for my comments read out on the @caneandrinse.com Exclusive monthly for May '26 episode. First up: my comment regarding trophies being hard to earn on Crimson Desert vs Blue Prince.
My thoughts on #OnimushaWarlords featured on @caneandrinse.com Yup, should have been upgrading my swords earlier. I was upgrading the orbs but neglected the swords even though I had plenty to spend. Great game overall. Definitely feels like early Resident Evil, set in Japan with swords.
My thoughts on #Sin&PunishmentStarSuccessor as read out on the @caneandrinse.com pod. Just not really my style of game. Although for those that like rail shooters and games by Treasure, I hear it's well loved. I somewhat enjoyed my time with it at least.
Woot! I earned a 100% on my 1st project in my Ethical Hacking class (Cybersecurity degree I'm working on).

Just to experiment I started using AI to replace my normal Google searches to see how effective it is now. Apparently after only a short time using ChatGPT, this is how it summarized me: “You’re the kind of person who treats games like worlds to investigate, not just experiences to finish.”
I’ve been so swamped with college coursework I forgot to post this last week. Here are my thoughts as read on @caneandrinse.com of #Castlevania #CircleOfTheMoon. An almost great game held back by some frustrating grinding required to make full use of its systems. Still enjoyed my time with it.
😩 Started playing No Man’s Sky for upcoming @caneandrinse.com pod, and ran into issue where game freezes every time I use the base computer. Apparently this is due to me playing the Switch version (it was gifted to me awhile back). Thankfully PS version on sale right now so playing that one.
My thoughts on #SonicAdventure2 as featured on @caneandrinse.com. Still probably my fav 3d Sonic game. Is it the best... no, not by a long shot. Nostalgia factors heavily in my opinions since this was probably the last great (or descent) Dreamcast game I owned before moving to GameCube and PS2.
My question I had on the #MetalSlug @caneandrinse.com podcast regarding several references to a chip shop. Thanks for educating me on my cultural ignorance!
My thoughts on #MetalSlug as covered by @caneandrinse.com Wonderful realistic...errr, stylistic 2d run and gun arcade game. @ratsoalbion.bsky.social LOL. Loved the misread there. I definitely enjoyed this one. I have no nostalgia for this since I only played it for the first time for the podcast.
Remember when I said I was looking for a specific thing in my photos?
My thoughts on #PanzerDragoonIIZwei as read out on @caneandrinse.com. I liked the game, it was alright. But I was spoiled on Star Fox 64 growing up. Probably nostalgia getting me. I prefer my on rail shooters more sci-fi than dragons. But I appreciate both and both are cool.
Took me several months to complete RE6, cause while the story was intriguing, just didn't really like the game play. But that got me on a classic RE kick. So I've recently played to completion: RE1, RE2, RE3 & Code Veronica from my @caneandrinse.com backlog. Enjoyed them all! Those were great games.
My comment read out for the @caneandrinse.com March ‘26 monthly. I played this for my wife. When mentioned by Jay they don’t want to be named in a divorce decree, my wife said to respond with, “Please see my wife’s notice of divorce”. She of course said this while laughing. 😂
Currently on beach vacation with my wife and youngest son. But wanted to post my comments shared on the #CitizenSleeper podcast featured on @caneandrinse.com Once I got past that weird PS4 game bug with this one, needed up absolutely loving this game.
Here are my thoughts on #Mother3 as featured on @caneandrinse.com. Seeing how I never played Earthbound (Mother2) or Earthbound Beginnings (Mother1) this is a strange place for me to start. I'm sure I didn't get a lot of the references. But overall I still enjoyed this game through completion.
My thoughts on #Turrican2 as featured on @caneandrinse.com. And yes, guilty. I am trying to play through at least half of the currently volume of podcasts being covered this year by the C&R crew. Also, this is a tough as nails old school 2d run and gun platforming game.
My youngest son is going to be belt testing for his orange belt for Tae Kwon Do next week. #ProudDad
