get more passionate. that's my advice. being an artist is super lonely. being a writer is the loneliest. mapping out the wrinkles of your brain and sharing it with the world is vulnerable, especially when no one else seems to care, but passion is the secret. get so passionate it doesn't even matter.

for every piece of ragebait you see that upsets you, make it your mission to nuke that negative input from the world by supporting an initiative or community you like instead. time wasted fighting with shadows is time you wont get back. draw. write. teach someone to play. share a song. leave kudos

Nothing is more depressing than watching young artists give other young artists advice like “only use one colour palette in everything you do to have a more recognizable brand” and “draw everything with a target audience in mind”
