With the ride update, I don't think Buzz Lightyear needs its film projector for the speed tunnel anymore. Looks like it was getting repaired with parts from old Epcot projectors, there's tags for China and The Land on it. Check out that film loop cabinet!

The Big Dipper at Blackpool Pleasure Beach Derailed - The video shows several broken cross ties which structurally support the track and ensure the left and right tracks remain equidistant. Their separation allowed the derailment. - Luckily, no one died. 📹: erins.o09 on TikTok

I’m watching a video about Meow Wolf’s sound design and it looks like they’re running Ableton for audio playback and processing. They also have their own Max 4 Live plugin with lots of parameters, one of which is panning spatial audio using algorithms based on the room shape and height of speakers.

Maybe the stairs were too cumbersome in practice, or they lost them, or the design sucked too much because I was still fresh out of college. I mean just look at the clearances or lack thereof around the wheel, the shop probably had to use a hex head because a wrench wouldn't fit.

What a McMaster wonder these stairs were

So oddly enough I designed evacuation stairs for Jimmy Fallon. The base could be wheeled in and then the stairs assembled on top. Depending on how high off the ground the vehicle was, the steps could be pinned in a couple places to accommodate. We built 4 of them, idk why they didn't use it here.

Watching Tik Tok of the Fallon evac where the platform was up in the air so they had to use harnesses to get everyone down ladders. Makes me thing of that Rockit ladder with like 4 different heights they could get gets off at..... Feels like something they should have invested in for this ride.
