Its been 2 years since this went down & while I've pretty much moved on emotionally, that money would really help me out right now! $24,000 from 2023/2024 Bandcamp, not sure what was going on with streaming $ at all. I took a lot of shit for going public with this then but I still haven't been paid.

Reached new lows with trying to get paid for my 2023/24 year from my old label Three Lobed. Really not sure what to do anymore, over a year with no updates & now getting ghosted completely. Ive prepared a statement with 1099/bandcamp sale records but not sure it will do anything if I even shared it.

I'm attending a digital humanities event in Montreal. There was a keynote on AI and something about the talk made me wonder if it had been written by Claude. I said as much in the Q&A. As I posed the question, the speaker shifted, looking slightly uncomfortable. What he said next shocked the room +

This strive to remove the humanity from our lives always reminds me of Kurt Vonnegut insisting on buying single stamps despite the inconvenience, or rather, because of doing so.

A screenshot of a Kurt Vonnegut quote: "Oh, she says well, you’re not a poor man. You know, why don’t you go online and buy a hundred envelopes and put them in the closet? And so I pretend not to hear her. And go out to get an envelope because I’m going to have a hell of a good time in the process of buying one envelope. I meet a lot of people. And, see some great looking babes. And a fire engine goes by. And I give them the thumbs up. And, and ask a woman what kind of dog that is. And, and I don’t know. The moral of the story is, is we’re here on Earth to fart around. And, of course, the computers will do us out of that. And, what the computer people don’t realize, or they don’t care, is we’re dancing animals."

elon musk provoking shankill road loyalists into conducting an anti-immigrant pogrom reminds me of how loyalist compounds in northern ireland fly apartheid south african, rhodesian (and more recently) israeli flags. there's a global alliance of settler-colonialist terrorists, musk is part of it.

I think a lot of people who obsess over Disco Elysium should spend less time litigating its legacy and play another game, like Norco, which is a masterpiece that not enough people played.
