Just found out night reign doesn’t have crossplay and died just a little inside. I usually am not a complainer with video game stuff but that really needs to be an industry standard for multiplayer games at this point.

If you are upset about games being $80 (yes this includes me I am not happy about it) the best thing to do is… not buy games at full price. Wait for a sale. It’s not limited media, it’s not going anywhere, and it’s still going to offer the same if not better experiences 6 months after release.

I’m seeing a lot of negative reviews on games along the lines of “this isn’t exactly what I wanted, even though it was exactly what was promised”. I can’t overstate how much more joy you will have if you allow art to unfurl in front of you, instead of demanding it be what you imagine you want.
Wrapped up the story of Monster Hunter Wilds last night, looking forward to the hunting without cutscenes now! GO TIME!
It pains me to no end that we got these two incredible horror games and then the franchise just dipped out forever...

Snapchat deciding to spam random notifications about strangers and influencers making posts is the slimiest, most intrusive and shitty way to promote content. Instantly deleted that garbage when I started getting them.
Really starting to hate YouTube’s recommended algorithms. I swear I will watch one video on two minute clip for something I was stuck on then they throw 20+ videos with thumbnails people spoiling the game or trying to perpetuate sad ass nontroversy about the game/studio. It’s not relevant.
I know it gets a lot of flak for being too bloated and following a “formula” but I just snagged Assassins Creed Valhalla and fired that bad boy up last night and think I may have found my next deep dive.
