The calendar changed, so the new goals: get better in python, learn Emacs, write at least one paper, be a better husband and friend, mentor someone in 911 data analytics and data science, finish my level 5 in Toastmasters, write in my blog more, reach out more.
Debating how to outline the next presentation project. Ollama configuration is going to be the biggest challenge.

I found myself laughing ruefully this afternoon. I had applied to a position that a friend sent to me at a company he works for. I just got the thanks but no thanks email. Maybe because I don't have experience with dbt and Snowflake, but you'd think with 15 years experience and a PhD, I could learn.
The other idea I've been kicking around is updating my blog: drddatacience.com/blog talking about my dissertation. Many friends in the 911 community are interested, but the language is too academic and my data friends don't know as much about 911 centers and their data. Thoughts?

Getting ready to write a few blog posts about my experiences at NENA SBP and I want to start tailoring posts to 911 managers, data analysis, and 911 staff interested in statistics. Any of my followers here in those categories? If so, what do you want to know about the intersection of data and 911?
I think I found a path out of a research conundrum. I'm hoping that I can find enough resources to teach myself advanced queuing theory in short order. Specifically, data-driven queuing theory.
