Every time I bring up to people that Mihoyo is absolutely rife and putrid with AI they all respond with "only Genshin tho not [insert whatever game they want here]" and I'm like NO???? It's in ALL of it. They aren't just using it to "confirm code" or whatever other excuses I've heard, either.

If I had watched The Fifth Element when I was 11 or 12 instead of in the past year my life would have gone in a completely different direction. I blame all of you for not talking that movie up the way it deserves.

Matthew Karch, CEO of multi-studio dev & publisher Saber Interactive, made the odd decision to stand up & shit his pants in front of the entire games industry over an ex-employee criticizing the studios' use of gen AI. My condolences to everyone who has to work around this type of feeble leadership
