I've noticed a distinct and interesting difference in those who call being a furry a hobby, those who call it a fandom, and those who consider it a community and how they interact with other furries and furry spaces.

In the context of building connections with prospective friends and partners, I don't see the point in pretending to be something that you're not. I believe in always being authentic.

I don't think I've ever felt as accepted and appreciated for being my authentic self as I have in furry spaces. Even being in queer or neurodivergent spaces I felt like an outsider. Furry is home to me. 🥰

Ordered my dresses for both Furpoc and next year's FCL. The one I want for ANE is currently not available in my size, which sucks because there's a huge sale going on and I wanted to take advantage. Two out of three isn't bad though!
