I’ll always remember that day because it was the day before my brother & his mates had to move out of their rental house, but they’d had a party the night before & someone had broken a window so we spent most of the day helping 3 very hungover idiots try to find a glazier on a Sunday.

I then went and turned on the TV, specifically to check Teletext, but didn't need to. A memory very much of its time, there.

Today is one of those occasions when I remember one of my absolute favourite amazing-actors-in-a-terrible-film scenarios - both Tim Curry and Sam Rockwell were in the first Charlie’s Angels movie 😄 Curry was camp as Christmas and utterly brilliant, obviously.
It’s a big shock to hear of the passing of Tim Curry. Sometimes it seems I always knew him. He was of course our first King Arthur in Spamalot and opened it in the West End too. He was always our first choice and he helped us by cheerfully recording song demos. A unique talent and a fun pal.
I was really hoping the Tim Curry thing was a bullshit Facebook hoax. Bollocks.
Shout out to everyone else who has to arrange their WGAC TP so that no two rolls with the same pattern are touching 😎
