The last month of the anti-Mamdani campaign was an absolutely shameful undertaking, an attempt to rip the city and Democratic coalition apart and I'm very happy to see it failed.

Yesterday, Trump agreed to a court order stating he must fund SNAP. He begrudgingly agreed to pay half. Today he’s posted that he will not pay anything until the the “Radical Left Democrats open up government” He’s admitting to using the poor, elderly & disabled as leverage to get what he wants.

Damn, this poll is brutal! And it’s going to get worse… The only folks still supporting Trump are MAGA Republicans, and even that won’t last much longer once the fact that Trump is just fine leaving them hungry really sets in. #VoteDemToday

The DC Sandwich Thrower''s trial started today. His lawyers say it's retaliation since the CBP agent hit with the sandwich was not injured. The federal agent who shot Rev. David Black with a pepper ball at point-blank range faces zero charges. A sandwich gets more accountability than a cop.

I don't know what will happen in NYC tonight, but I do know that regardless of outcome, any number of public figures, celebrities, politicians and institutions that oppose Mamdani have done so with a level of rhetorical ugliness, racism, and dishonesty that should neither be forgotten nor forgiven.

This kind of threat represents an abuse of power and an attempt to coerce voters. It’s a clear act of political intimidation that violates democratic norms and could be perceived as election interference.👇

HOSTIN: You don't believe in QAnon anymore? You've changed? MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: No, I haven't changed. I was a victim just like you were of media lies and stuff you read on social media

Senate Republicans blocked a resolution demanding full funding for SNAP benefits. This, as Trump still refuses to fully restore SNAP to 42 million Americans. As we head into the midterms, don't forget: GOP lawmakers are fully complicit with Trump's weaponization of hunger.

WOW. A federal judge says he's going to issue a Temporary Restraining Order requiring ICE to make changes at the Broadview facility in Chicago, a facility that until January was only for stays under 12 hours "absent exceptional circumstances," but has become, in Judge Gettleman's words, "a prison."

U.S. Robert Gettleman is now giving his thoughts. He says, "I think the evidence has been pretty strong that this facility is no longer just a temporary holding facility. … "It has really become a prison."
