Abbey Road DLR station has confused so many Beatles fans that TfL installed a sign directing them to the real Abbey Road at St John's Wood, North West London. So I thought it would be fun to bring the Beatles to East London instead, staging a tiny reunion cutout from a poster.
Spiralling – Goodge St There’s something special about the spiral staircases hidden within London Underground stations. Often tucked away near fire exits, they can be a fantastic place to discover original tiling and little glimpses of the building’s architectural history.

There’s something beautiful about the way an arriving train casts light across the station walls, bringing them to life for just a moment. Captured at Holland Park.
Inside a vintage 1938 Underground train. I was lucky enough to capture some photos of the beautiful interior during one of the London Transport Museum’s heritage runs. The colours, details and atmosphere are wonderful, it feels more like a cosy front room than a train!

Edmonton’s Angel takes its name from a former pub, the Angel Tavern, which was demolished in 1968. Interestingly, Edmonton Green Bus Station features canopy covers that resemble angel wings, complete with a bus roundel halo So Andreya posed an angel wearing classic bus Moquette

Blackfriars has got to be home to one of the best station views in the country. I’m always too busy making my way to the Underground when I pass through, but I’m determined to stop one evening and catch a dramatic sunset.

One of the frustrating things about social media is how quickly posts disappear & information gets buried. I realised I haven’t talked about my books for quite a while, so I thought I’d bring one back into the spotlight with some images from my 2d book, Symmetry and Imperfections.
That’s a pretty large “Mind the Gap” sign at Blackheath station. It got me thinking: which UK station has the largest “Mind the Gap” sign, and which Underground or railway station has the largest gap?

Some Underground stations have curved platforms that create a fascinating perspective as trains approach, making it look almost as though you’re standing directly in their path. Fulham Broadway is a great example of this, offering a lovely view of the train exiting the tunnel.
Sometimes people blend into their surroundings as if they were meant to be there. This lady’s colours perfectly echoed the architecture of Southfields Underground station.
Riding Off Into The Sunset The DLR isn’t just fun because you can pretend to drive the train, it’s also got some seriously photogenic views. Here’s the tracks near London City Airport Station at sunset, heading into the city.

No Smoking When the Bakerloo line finally gets its upgrade, I hope they keep the old “No Smoking” signs on the windows. Utterly redundant. Absolutely essential for nostalgia. Photo taken at Baker Street.
