I meet with MAHA activists because a lot of their concerns are bipartisan issues that major corporations paint as partisan. The fight isn't left and right, it's top and bottom.
tomorrow they'll announce billions of taxpayer dollars will be spent on studies exploring the health benefits of drinking the mixture of condiments and beverage remnants you and your dumbass friends mixed into one glass at the end of the meal

Appropriate air quotes because the most infuriating part about Americans debating "lockdown" is that it simply never happened. Having to pick up your Applebees and eat it on the sectional does not count. There wasn't even a brief moment where "everything" was closed. That's not real.

i got it in my head to replay the 7th saga, an SNES rpg i have a lot of fondness for that i also cannot in good conscience recommend to anyone *killer* soundtrack though
were i a huge piece of shit - a massive turd ambling about on corn-studded turd legs - who thinks atrocity has to clear a body count threshold before it merits attention, i'd wonder why those bombed schools matter so much given the relatively small percentage of the overall population they contained

Nope nope nope. What we’re not going to do is pretend the abandonment of the vulnerable to Covid was a given fact or an inevitability. The US government could have continued to prioritize safety measures to protect the vulnerable until better treatments were found. You do You was a policy choice.

i saw someone (in defense of the game show guy who volunteered to be today's main character) suggest that marginalized people should be nicer to their allies if they expect to keep their support it's not the first time i've seen this argument made, and it is, of course, absolute horseshit
you can’t be a friend to others if you can’t be a friend to yourself (also if this is from what I think it’s from then oh my god I loved these books *so much* as a kid they were at my school library and I had at least one checked out at all times)
