Watched the first few episodes of this today and absolutely love it. I still say Saxondale is his best work, but I’m pleased to see Alan back.

Morning! We have a quieter house this morning after middle child and her partner moved out to a flat share yesterday. They are going to have fun and it’s the next natural period of life. But I will miss them.

My last Sunday at St Mark’s. Couldn’t get to sleep & woke up at 5am. I wasn’t expecting so many emotions to be flying around my head. I’ve loved this place & its people for 7 years. We’ve gone through traumas of covid & the fire together. Now I leave them to rebuild. I need to rebuild too. Please 🙏
I’ve started saying my goodbyes. Today was my last day at St Paul’s Cathedral. Honestly, if I wasn’t so excited about going to Llandaff @llandaffcathedral.bsky.social , I’d be in bits. I’ve had such a precious time there.
Who is #Eastenders trying to appeal to lately? This storyline with #Oscar is baffling and infuriating. Do they think all working class people are addicts, dealers, thieves or thugs? Actually, why am I asking? Of course they do. And we know the #BBC love a bit of cheeky chappy inappropriate 'banter'
Then they came for the sarcastic people and I was like oh great that's exactly what we need right now well done to all concerned.
