The IMD has declared withdrawal of the monsoon from Mumbai today. This year the monsoon lasted 103 days from June 23 to Oct 3 and 2,501mm of rain was recorded. Of the above total, 46% or 1,146.2mm was recorded in the 11 days from June 29 to July 9.
