The literacy crisis is not just referring to people's ability to literally read and write. It's also people's inability to read for context. I've been a public educator for over 20 years and I have never, ever seen it this bad.
I just started playing @somethingclassic.bsky.social's Quartet, and I'm really enjoying it so far! Scratches the classic JRPG itch, but with so many nice quality-of-life features! Beautiful visuals, and super catchy music I found myself humming instantly! Looking forward to getting deeper into it 😄

I highly recommend this game to JRPG fans. I'm getting close to the end now and it's a great ride. Very well written, solid combat, excellent characters.

Playing this now. Highly recommended for the writing alone. Will have more to say when I finish, but so far this is peak indie-JRPG and has a legit shot of dethroning Chained Echoes as my favorite.

Any harp players wanna chime in? Just double checking that a harpist can play an octave in one hand? Aka two notes an octave apart at the same time (like a piano or guitar) the other hand needs to be free for something else
The magic system and general world lore of Quartet is one of the coolest riffs on classic JRPG nonsense I've ever seen. I'm extremely excited to see where this game goes next.
