The second project is the Umbrella Review of EEG Preprocessing for ERP studies (led by @ufangyang.bsky.social) which is currently in the data extraction phase

We invite psychology researchers at any stage of their career and at any type of institution to consider submitting their proposal formatted as a Stage 1 Registered Report for consideration to receive research funding from SIPS and a recommendation decision from PCI-RR! #PsychSciSky

Brought my IGOR bag (from last week’s #PuG2025 @igor-dgps.bsky.social) to SIPS @improvingpsych.org, full circle moment. Both have shaped how I approach open, reproducible neuro + psych research and collaborative methods. Ps. Brainhack still hits different for the nerdiest magic.

Our workshop initiative “EmoLeaders: Leading with Emotional Intelligence Across Borders,” is officially funded by the @berlinualliance.bsky.social!🥳 We aim to empower post/doctoral+ researchers with emotional intelligence skills to become fearless leaders and cross-cultural collaborators.

How long should you stick with the same journal when feedback intervals are so long that reviewers drop out, leading to new reviewers and multiple rounds of revisions? At what point is it reasonable to move on ( e.g. I wait for 1 yr). Curious about others’ takes on this hidden rule #ScientificReport
