As a kid I assumed it was a national chain because there were half a dozen or so around here, but nope, it's just a Halifax-Huddersfield-Brighouse thing. It's the sort of place that seems to survive solely on the custom of OAPs buying soup and toasties.

Cross-stitch Reddit is too heavily moderated (get told off for posting), cross-stitch Facebook isn't moderated at all (posts gets buried in a sea of AI slop), and cross-stitch Bluesky is quiet as the grave (posts barely get seen by anyone at all). Hmph.
