We're concerned about how the proposed Town and Country Planning (Discharge of Local Planning Authority Functions) (England) Regulations 2026 would mean many incinerator planning applications could be determined by Officers not Planning Committees. We hope that MPs reject this anti-democratic move!

There’s always something left behind when incinerators burn waste – ash, bits of ceramic, microplastics, metals, as well as a plethora of PFAS and POPs, many of them toxic to our health. What could one possibly do with such a hazardous mixture? Surely not allow it to enter the environment? 😬⚠️
