Some red Epiphyllum orchid cactus going absolutely ham in my local library. Their large crimson blooms are backlit against a window that gives a frosty texture, framed and interrupted by the long arching leaves casting dark shapes over the bright petals

A very special bloom for me - this is a 50 year old Opuntia that I rescued after my partner's grandmother was put into hospice. It's the first time he's ever seen it bloom - last year, I took cuttings off it for his family. This one is still in the original pot, but she's not making me paddles rn.
