iTunes was amazing at finding album art. Apple Music is dogshit. It used to look only for exact matches on both album title and artist. Now it looks just at album name and picks one that’s sort of close. First is my imported file second is from their streaming option.

Not only was this clouds and smoke but rain that was evaporating almost instantly because of the heat. There were like 3 different weather fronts crashing together right over my city, plus the smoke drifting from the north and east.

The weather here today was so unhinged. It was 95F when I took these. That extra haze was smoke. The second one was just as the first few drops of rain started to fall marking the beginning of the most intense thunderstorm I’ve ever experienced. Searing hot never overlaps with pouring rain here.

Ended up drawing more gargoyle! Still trying to settle on her design but I cant get over how pretty she looks in this WIP png we made tonight! 😭 Love all the cracks on her body and still going to stick with her right eye being damaged and missing. Shes still also living and workin in a book shop!

I admittedly don't have enough to go pick up a cpap on the other side of the city Monday + physical therapy Wendsday next week as well as upcoming bills. I appreciate the help so far, truly thank you. It means so so much.

New month, new qrp for the ever shifting ever changing stream of doctor appts. Esp now that I have a pcp that cares and rheumatologist that wants to actually figure out what is wrong w/ me. Downside is transpo to appt is roughly $60-80 round trip. I apologize for asking but thank you for the help -

The last several years has felt like less of an uphill battle and more that I was standing at the base of a sheer cliff after surviving a fall. The collapse of twitter and the birth of generative AI decimated my already dwindling comics career and private commissions.

I know i said the same thing for pride month...but..maybe help me, a VERY ill trans nb comic artist afford to get to my doctor appts this Disability Pride month if it's okay to ask...again..aha my apologies. I actually will share some art too this time! Proof im an artist! Qrp thread has info

My job is IT for a small company. And yesterday one of the other employees was absolutely gushing about how amazing AI is at doing his job for him. I wanted to punch him in the face so fucking hard. My supervisor and I have been digging deep to block access to every possible AI tool.

Over on tumblr, during pride month they put AI generated bullshit of the Stonewall Inn on the radar. So I spent 2 weeks redrawing the same angle. The AI post got 5K notes. Mine didn't even reach 500. Because the internet loves AI slop and is actively hostile to real artists.

I probably posted this before. But remember. The bugs on the floor are free You can just eat them.

With a 3D printer, I'm unstoppable! Found the original model on Thingiverse, trimmed down to remove the back part so I could add in hooks and hang it on the shoulder of my battle jacket for the Portland ritual. Now it lives on my wall. #ghostband

Part of the slow down on the comic launch is I got. 3D printer and was utterly consumed in a creative frenzy. First 3 I downloaded. Last 1 I fully designed and modeled myself.

By Any Means is launching as soon as I get my shit together and build my launch package. So I started working on character art. Crawford on left, Jackie on right. I’m thinking of renaming the middle guy to Zane because he’s changed so much.

Seems like a good day to post this again. Print it out. Frame it. Hang it on your wall. Make your comic.
