#Tolkientober Day 8 - East "The Eastern Orcs [...] were not subservient to Sauron - while he was obliged [...] to wear as fair a form and countenance as he could, they despised him and laughed at him." ~ Nature Of Middle-earth #orctober

Whumptober Day 5: ENEMY TO CARETAKER🤝❤️‍🩹 The founding of Imladris by Elrond was not without its secrets🔏 I've been wanting to draw this for a long while and this prompt was the definitive push! Here I am pushing the "Adar lives" agenda until the end🥺🖤 #Elrond #Gil-Galad #Adar #TROP #Whumptober

Comic page.

At the top there is a pannel surrounded by a cloudy atmosphere (meaning it's a memory) in which Gil-Galad and Elrond are talking.

GIL-GALAD: "And remember, Elrond, any secret you keep-..."
ELROND: "I am not-..."
GIL-GALAD: "Any secret will be known. And the consequences will not be for you alone but for all the people helping you keep it hidden in Imladris"

Under these last Gil-Galad's words appears Elrond in the present, in a dark room, thoughtful at that memory. In the pannel at the right every thought is interrumpted by a hand with long nails extending towards Elrond, who looks slightly shocked our of his reverie. There is a black balloon connecting with the hand that says "MY... CHILDREN"

In the last pannel, at the bottom of the page, appears a scene in which we discover Elrond has been sitting at the bedside of someone gravely wounded and covered in dressings who is not other than Adar, commander of the Uruks and his former enemy.

Elrond is taking the hand Adar extended between his, and we can see he is wearing the ring Vilya.

Won't post any new art until October (I'm working on prompts for Kinktober and Whumptober right now and shall sprinkle in some Tolkientober as well) Meanwhile I'll make a thread with all my spider - mole art, because we all can use some cuteness in our life ☺️

Sweetening our start to this week with some spicy #Smole art🎨 Those chokers Maeglin wears are not just a fashion choice 😉 And despite passing as straight couple these two are anything but (Goli- pansexual and primordial being; Maeglin- bisexual and genderfluid) #maeglin #ungoliant #smole #spicy

And of course, what is a Mordor celebration without a dance? Join others in playing music or dance around the fire, no matter whether you do it freely or holding hands in a circle; make sure to wake up the earth with your steps!🔥💃🎶🌙

@maelomion.bsky.social and I have been trying our hands at flower crowns. How did we do? Everything looks so beautiful, Adar ☺️

Adar's tiredness@adaristired.bsky.social · 6mo ago

Spring energy sparks creativity, joy and movement, inviting us to express ourselves freely🖤 With all the flowers we brought, braid flower crowns or make bouquets to adorn yourself others (and with “others” we count animal skulls, too)🪻🏵️💮🌹🌼🌺🌷🌹💀

Black and white illustration by me of Adar in full body, wearing a revealing dark outfit, darker paintings on the skin of his chest and around his eyes and some flowers scattered on his long hair. He is carrying a bowl full of sage blossoms and another one on his gauntleted hand, the only coloured part of the drawing (in purple)
