With his fingers broken 'n his heart 'n back forgotten

Pockets full of blood One of my favourites from planet Gong, but sadly all the copies I've had all sound awful- even the CD. Anyone know if the latest Charly remaster is any better?

Late 80s Affinity reissue
Looks like black vinyl but goes dark reddy brown like black coffee when held up to the light. Neat.

As a rule I avoid these "That's Jazz" reissues as best I can. The sleeves look tacky, plus they also feel tacky to the touch as the sleeve degrades. I picked this one up though, as it was very cheap and the music makes up for everything else.

Still feeling aggrieved at the injustice done to the Egyptian football team, so I'm wailing, listening to Oum Koulsoum and tearing at my garments (£6.99, H&M). Quite cathartic.
