Desperately wishing polls could happen on this platform so I could gauge interest in whether or not people would be interested in some small, private avatar and pet portrait commission slots for September

This year, as part of Frosty Games Fest 2026, we decided to appear in the showcase introducing some really sick games. To do this, we had to (obviously) film ourselves. This is how I filmed my footage: in a squat, with a homemade tripod that had a notepad with my lines wedged under a box

Any cool international devs (preferably with a game released in the last year or so) interested in visiting Melbourne this year (for the small price of doing a short talk??)

Had to delete instagram off of my phone during work hours because I cannot stop watching reels of people using a stamp craft cutter on their Pokemon TCG bulk to make cute little journals and scrapbooks with. I am one bad day away from buying my own little craft punch it has me in a chokehold

I have decided to give Pokémon scarlet a proper go of it after abandoning it pretty quickly after playing it at launch. While I still think it’s a ‘second draft’ of a Pokémon game, I’ve come to really appreciate the Pokédex UI, the variety of Pokémon in the game, character design, and picnics.

I got asked by a relative over coffee the other day ‘so…is your industry and the job you work stable right now?’ And she asked if I was okay afterwards because I apparently went quiet and said nothing but ‘um’ for ten seconds

“It’s too dark”, “they’re just doing the same stories”, “the costumes look weird”, “I don’t like what they’ve done with this character”, “the art isn’t that good”, it makes no sense to bring this character back” Time is a flat circle, welcome back 2010’s comic book reader discourse!

I've been thinking a lot about the modding panel discussion from Asymptotes on Saturday night (lovely event!!) and my own relationship with mods, modding forums, and how games can be toys you rip apart and put back together again. Anyway, what if I replaced all the blocks in Tetris with dogs???
