Really enjoyed working on this with colleagues across different groups and departments across @uofgsii.bsky.social and @uofgmvls.bsky.social — one of the nicest parts of moving somewhere new has been getting to collaborate with people in different areas.

Streptomyces make an extraordinary range of specialised metabolites, and their presence in animal-associated niches may hint at what that chemistry is actually used for in nature. Plus, this bee figure by @davidrcomark.bsky.social is super cute 🐝
