I kinda wish sometimes a european animation would blow up like the yearly couple of "goto" anime. Each time I see franco-belgian comics discusses it's usually pretty old things, but I would really love to see some Thorgal animation or something of the kind.

Made some terrain for the ships to fight over. Styrofoam balls from the hobby store stuck on bamboo skewers, a layer of plaster, then painted like gas giants. The lines on the first one were a little bit wonky, before I learned I could use a rubber band as a guide. #BFG #battlefleetgothic

Assets that I made for the 2024 Roguelike Celebration Steam sale page. 🧑🎨 The tallish tile size here I'm very fond of. I choose it because it reminds me of the tall grid often in ASCII roguelikes, but it also had some benefits when it came to actually draw the tiles & sprites.
