Embiid plays 30 games max. Lebron 40. Simons and Dean Wade is the bench. Folks.... it's not happening.

Knicks. That's it. "Back and forth we go."
I think rights to me just got traded to the Wizards.
Fare thee well, Ariel. We'll always have that great block on your predecessor Luke and your finals press conference shenanigans. I actually like this for him and for the Sixers - he's a classic Sixers bench guy in every sense, and given who's in front of him... he'll play!
Free agent center Ariel Hukporti has agreed to a one-year, $3.4 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, sources tell ESPN. Hukporti departs the Knicks after playing a reserve role on their title team, and gives the 76ers frontcourt depth and a high-motor, athletic big man.
I like Collins, but he's a weird fit on this team, vibes-wise.
Free agent John Collins has agreed to a three-year, $51 million deal to sign with the Detroit Pistons, sources tell ESPN. Frontcourt addition and a new lob threat for Cade Cunningham in Detroit.
All the centers are signing contracts.... is there Mitch news in the works?
I could see Deuce and a passel of 2nd rd picks going out in a trade for a backup C at this point. Landry, Jose, JC are backup guards. Diawara signed. But we need size and Huk is... not the guy.
Signs will stay up until nightfall and possibly not even that long.
🚏7th & W 32nd: KAT 🚏6th & W 44th: Landry Shamet 🚏7th & W 50th: Trey Jemison 🚏7th & W 51st: Mohamed Diawara 🚏7th & W 55th: Ariel Hukporti Signs will stay up 4 weeks
Houston/Clarkson thing for 00 is pretty clever honestly.
Street signs are going up today along 6th and 7th Avenues for every Knick: 🚏6th Ave & W Houston: Jordan Clarkson 🚏6th & Bleeker: Dillon Jones 🚏6th & Minetta: Deuce McBride 🚏6th & W 3d: Josh Hart 🚏6th & W 4th: Pacome Dadiet 🚏6th & Washington Pl : Jose Alvarado 🚏6th & W 8th: OG Anunoby
These two Knicks captains go way back... and now they get to celebrate a championship together 🏆
News: I too am expected to exercise my player option to keep doing what I'm doing at around the same salary until eventually I've done it enough to feel like I can stop doing it.
In other timelines, the Knicks just lost Game 6 at home and have to play Game 7 on Friday. I do not not envy those timelines (unless they also have cool flying cars and even then not really).
It's a golden age of content. I'm watching 55 yr old dads freak out, small children cheer, nutritionists of players beam, WAGs be WAGs (seems like a nice group actually), masses of West Village bandwagoners riot, and stoned OG giggle on GMA... man. What a week.
Hard to wrap my head around all this, but I don't want my top post to be a complaint about refs so I'll just say what I often text to a friend whenever Jalen hits a big shot in the last 3 minutes of a game: Fuck yeah.
So obvious. That's two on Wemby they haven't called.
Basketball! knicks should play a wee bit of it and see where it gets them. Just a suggestion.
wrote about og anunoby (also boring preparation, regular work, and fandom’s saddest kind of goodbye)
OG Anunoby’s whole life prepared him for this Knicks moment
OG Anunoby’s run towards his game-winning tip-in started long before Game 4 of the NBA Finals.

Last night I took a picture of a camera man taking a picture of the prelude to the most glorious sporting event I have ever had the privilege to witness, and I was at the LJ 4 point play game and the Trent Tucker 'henceforth there must be .3 seconds left on clock for catch and shoot' game.
Not loving the media's obsession with The Shove. Yes, large man pushed Jalen and it was a dirty play. Ok. Let's move on, play faster when Castle gets up on defense, and win the game.
I, on the other hand, *will* receive a flagrant foul for pulling my hair out over the next 15 hours or so.
Clarkson's patented fade away 3. Just another insane game of NBA basketball.
spurs ludicrously hot. cut it to 5 by half time. be deeper.
How can a man be this far up his own ass? Just remarkable.
honestly this is nuts, they're establishing an 8-hour security perimeter around the most used transportation hub in North America, so one guy can attend a basketball game
It is an extremely in-character thing for Donald Trump to ruin the evening of tens of thousands of people so he can attend an event where he will also have a bad time.
My only comment today: let's definitely go knicks.
