After much deliberation, I have concluded that we must: IMPEACH IMPEACH IMPEACH Kristi Noem! Thanks for your attention to this matter! --VJU
Under the newly adopted CA House map, Prop 50 passed by at least 10% in every SoCal district with an incumbent Democrat. Even in CA40 which is intended as a Republican vote sink, Prop 50 only failed by 5%. A very tough map for the CA GOP in 2026.
We passed Prop 50 with flying colors!! CA voters understood the assignment!
CA statewide poll from PPIC: Prop 50 (Redistricting): 56-43 YES Trump job rating: 67-33 disapprove Prop 50 is going to pass, but I'd just mention Trump continues to poll particularly bad in CA on job approval. He's less popular than his first term. tinyurl.com/38jnmr5z
We’re officially voting on Nov. 4th on whether to fight back against Texas and stop the GOP from rigging 2026! Tell your friends and neighbors, donate what you can, make phone calls — we gotta put everything into voting YES on Prop 50!! 🐻🐻 t.co/DCuWkna9ku

Newly registered CA voters in June: Overall: 47% Dem, 23% Rep, 31% Indy (D+24) Latinos: 51% Dem, 19% Rep, 30% Indy (D+32) CA GOP had actually been making inroads with registration last year or so, but pendulum seems to be swinging back. All data is from Political Data Inc.
OC Dems -- we have to keep the recent momentum going! An important filing deadline is coming, so let's support two great Dems -- Katrina Foley and Connor Traut for OC Board of Sups Sup Katrina Foley: tinyurl.com/pzu6fdbh Connor Traut: tinyurl.com/kxf4xnp6 Anything helps!
California #AD63 (Trump+13) special election results: Chris Shoults (D)- 44.6% Natasha Johnson (R)- 44.1% Vincent Romo (R)- 9.8% Zach Consalvo (Libertarian)- 1.5% No candidate broke 50%, so this is going to an August runoff between Shoults and Johnson
Another horrible day in the City of Angels! Thank god the Marines are here to “protect” us! 😂
PPIC Poll of CA: Trump's job approval: 34% Approve 66% Disapprove Latinos: 75-25 Disapprove LA: 72-28 Disapprove shorturl.at/iew3c Trump is literally as unpopular as ever in CA right now. Big implications for the 2026 House fight…

Another great damn day for OC Democrats!! Huntington Beach’s voters have repealed a book banning and public library privatization plan with a huge margin. This is a notoriously right wing CA city, so huge win.
Proud of all the Angelenos that came out to make their voices peacefully heard for the American ideals we hold dear!
This big, beautiful break-up would be funny if it weren't our money and our nation at stake. They're not even pretending now… self-serving cronyism is the only motive for Trump and Musk. The wheels are coming off MAGA.
CA GOP about to lose all goodwill they earned in 2024 in the Latino community. If the polling stays like this, they’re going to lose seats in 2026. Nationally, Latino voters disapprove of Trump by about 60-40. CA Latino vote is much more liberal than the national Latino vote though…
EXCLUSIVE: Trump’s approval among Latino voters is crashing, new poll shows.
Happy Pride Californians (and everyone else!) 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
Great news for OC Dems! Nancy Pelosi is investing millions to beat the last OC Rep, Young Kim. In 2024, the party spent almost nothing against her, so this is a big change. Also, Pelosi’s spending against Ken Calvert in RivCo and David Valadao in the Central Valley.
Democrat Randy Villegas in running against Republican incumbent David Valadao in the Central Valley’s CA22. The political registration in this D+12 district, so it’s ripe to flip blue and make Hakeem Jeffries House Speaker!
Another day, another CA poll showing Trump with historic levels of unpopularity! 68% of CA voters disapprove of him — he’s already more unpopular than this point in 2017. 2026 should be fun…
Great news yesterday — Democrat Betty Martinez Franco won a council seat on the Irvine City council yesterday which gave Democrats a 4-3 majority! She was outspent 10-1 and still beat corporate interests — amazing! www.ocregister.com/2025/04/16/s...
Special election results: Betty Martinez Franco set to become Irvine’s newest councilmember
Challenger Anthony Kuo said in a statement that he reached out Tuesday night to congratulate Martinez Franco.

Give @rikerforcongress.bsky.social a follow! He’s a Democrat that is running to retire 30 year Congressman Ken Calvert in the Inland Empire and Coachella Valleys. We need to flip this district in 2026!
Pretty big news: the legislators of California’s Assembly have abandoned Twitter, so might want to look for your local assemblyperson here! I’ll try to put in starter packs.
You should read the CA newspapers tomorrow! Something might happen.
Derek Tran, a son on Viet refugees and an US Army Vet, defeated incumbent Republican Michelle Steel in CA45 and flipped it blue in a fairly big surprise in November. A 🧵

Here's an interactive map of how 9 million Southern Californians voted in Nov. 2024 for President and House! Democrats flipped CA-27 in LA County and CA-45 in Orange County blue. tinyurl.com/25yx9pdc
Beautiful sunset over the Hollywood Hills today. I need to post here more but so many social media accounts is overwhelming.
THE DEMOCRATS HAVE FLIPPED IOWA'S #SD35: Mike Zimmer (D)- 51.8% Katie Whittington (R)- 48.2% THIS WAS A TRUMP+21 DISTRICT!
Democrats are on the verge of winning a special election in Iowa that voted for Trump by 21% just two months ago! Wild.
Full results from Clinton County in Iowa's #SD35 (this is about 75% of the whole district): Mike Zimmer (D)- 51.8% Katie Whittington (R)- 48.2% Now we look to Scott & Jackson Counties to see if the Dems can flip a Trump+21 seat only two weeks into the 2nd Trump Administration.
CA Democrats have taken control of the Riverside County Board, joining Los Angeles, Orange, and San Diego. Every cycle, another county flips blue downballot! It's not long ago that there were almost zero downballot Dems in Socal (outside of LA)...
