Recently decided to restart Dragon Quest IX again so that the partner and I can co-op through it together, and I forgot how much of a delightful little romp it is.
I’m going on a couple of trips soon, and I love having a new book to read while travelling. Being the furry trash I am, both of the books I picked up feature gay werewolves.
I ended up experimenting a lot with this one, pouring layers of ink washes over the watercolor and building up with pastels. I'm trying to get a look that is soft and textured but still has clear strong details in places. I haven't gotten it down yet quite the way I want, but this is a step closer!
