Canadian storm chaser, President of Slate 10 Pictures Inc Exec Producer. Profile is a tornado I photographed in Hennessey, Oklahoma on May 19, 2010 http://www.vaughanweather.com

I went storm chasing in Southern Ontario yesterday with Biscuit. We intercepted a short-lived supercell near that produced a wall cloud and showed deviant motion. The video features narration and timelapses of the storm development and a close lightning strike. #ONstorm #ONWX youtu.be/ZU6T-ND7Wb0

A single storm event that cancels an airshow cannot alone be linked to climate change in any meaningful manner, especially when it occurs around mid/peak season for such storms. This is bad luck, nothing more, and attempting to frame it around climate change is disingenuous to actual climate change

Snowbirds post on Facebook: โ€œDue to fast changing weather, we must unfortunately cancel any further flights today.
We know how much this day means to so many of you, and we're disappointed we couldn't take to the skies over the capital this Canada Day. Thank you for your patience and support throughout the day.
The good news? We'll be back! Catch us in the National Capital Region this September at Aero Gatineau-Ottawa. We can't wait to put on a show for you then. #canadaday #OttawaGatineau Royal Canadian Air Force Canadian Heritage National Capital Commission

My personal weather station in Woodbridge (Vantage Pro 2 fan aspirated) hit 39.6C yesterday and my Vantage Vue hit 37.2C in Mimico. We're seeing all sorts of heat related impacts on infrastructure from trains running more slowly to sections of highway/freeway buckling. share.google/qn36iXC1nsG6...
