Fun fact about the Maitum Jars tho. Anthropomorphic burial jars are apparently unique to the Philippines. Within South East Asia at least haha. Like Egypt does have anthropomorphic canopic jars haha.

I made stickers inspired by pre-colonial Filipino artifacts. I'll have these available at my table this Komiket Pride this weekend! I did not print a lot tho. So if you want the set or one of these guys, come visit me!

I cannot find the art files for these Junji Ito Pokemon. I was hoping to reprint a few but I think these drawings might be stuck in my broken laptop. I guess I can just redraw. Blegh.

Back in April I organized a still-life party with my friends. And I made this lil logo for a poster haha. The idea was we'd all bring our own object for the still-life setup. Whipped up with some mismatched typography for the logotype. Anyway I'm hoping to do another session.

People were talking about K-Zone and it reminded me of my favorite comic in that magazine. It was Batrisha the Vampire Girl. Now like over a decade later (maybe 2 haha), I'm the one making spooky comics haha. 🦇

I was supposed to go to the coffee expo today but instead I am cramming for Komiket Pride. I don't even know if I'll have enough lead time to get anything produced by then. So my table will either be sparse or jank next Saturday.

I guess social media is just stressful anywhere. Even in bluesky I still have to see so much horrors. But like, good artists should stay informed and engaged with the world. Especially when it's on fire.
