Mixed feelings about this one. The art is absolutely stunning and there's many memorable, visceral moments in here, but the mid section goes on for ages and after like the fourth (graphic) instance of domestic abuse I was like 'JESUS OK we get it!' Also someone must have really liked The Shining...
It's been a long day and we managed to do tons of work. Drilling, sanding, scrubbing etc. That pint was well-earned. Also managed to find a kitchen clock that was an absolute bargain. The owner was well-aware he could have easily sold it for 4x more, he just couldn't be arsed. A legend.
There's only one working lift in this building (again) and the management company is trying to shift blame onto all residents rather than fix the damn lifts lmaoooo Imagine trying to tell someone on the 10th floor they have to use the stairs if they're moving flats. GTFO with this shit.
Another LGBT venue closing down, this time it's Chelmsford, and it was, I quote, the "only dedicated LGBTQ+ bar in the county". So yeah. Essex is looking a bit grim now. There's something I've been seeing more recently, and it's the comments saying how there's no need for these venues anymore...
I can't believe this is actually getting an official (re)-release after 30 years! It's an incredible game, well-worth playing even today.

The DLC (Shadows of Rose) is not nearly as good as the main game, but I enjoyed it for actually being the proper ending for Ethan's story.
