Thanks again to everyone who played, enjoyed, and shared SiIvaGuessr! Tomorrow (September 14) is the last regular daily, but random daily picks will continue going forward. I've also open-sourced the site on GitHub under the MIT License: github.com/Veegie/siiva...

Been working on this for a while now, and happy to finally share it with folks. Introducing: SiIvaGuessr! A new daily browser game where you can test your niche knowledge of High-Quality Rips. A new curated puzzle will be available each day! siivaguessr.meme

The logo for SiIvaGuessr. The word "Guessr" uses a different font for each letter: the G in a Flintstones font, the U from Undertale, the E is the M from the Super Mario logo rotated 90 degrees, the two S's are from the Simpsons and Space Jam logos, and the R is from the Kirby: Planet Robobot logo.

Hi all! Update on SiIvaGuessr - I've pushed version 1.01: - A few small (overdue!) bug fixes. - When playing previous dailies in the archive, the Back button beneath the results display will now auto-scroll to the Daily you just finished. - The strikes system has been removed.

Re-watching Skyfall, and I'm always immensely amused by this moment, where highly trained secret agent 007 gets stunlocked in the middle of a deadly fistfight because he saw a Komodo dragon, and just... points at it. He's still a teenage boy at heart. "LOOK, COOL LIZARD!"

A still from the 2012 James Bond movie, Skyfall. 007 and a henchman have fallen into a pit; both of them are looking warily at a komodo dragon in the foreground. A second still from the same shot, moments later. The henchman charges at 007, who simply points at the komodo dragon, which has barely moved.

This year, I discovered three ways to genuinely revisit the past ⏳ beyond nostalgia. They involve re-playing media, re-syncing your mental timeline, and re-creating moments from bygone eras. 📺🕰️🔙 How to Time Travel (or: The Night My Mom Camped Outside BestBuy for a Wii) youtu.be/watch?v=4Uahb-6fE_k

SiIvaGuessr has been updated to v0.86. With this update comes a few much-requested features, including an archive of past dailies! The beta version of the site did not save your results per-question, so early adopters can feel free to replay the dailies and cram some easy wins into their history.

this is something i actually somehow Didn't get in trouble for. when I was 14 i noticed that there was a "Students All" e-mail address, so i made a crude looping flash cartoon about a frog and sent it to everyone. for some reason, this message was not deletable, and attempting to delete it would -

Hi. I'll use this about as often as I use all social media, which is to say, I *might* post a couple times a year.
