She is dressed alternatively with a punk jacket and plaid skirt with a few accessories. Notably, she has a bright orange feather hanging from her ear and a bisexual flag pin on her jacket. Ayda is a dark skinned half-phoenix girl. She has a mohawk made of fire on her head, bright orange wings, and a long feathered tail akin to a peacock’s. She has taloned feet and orange runes on her arms.

In the first drawing, Ayda is crouching and staring intently at Fig, who is sitting casually and smiling at Ayda. Ayda says the following: ‘The purple streak in your hair is unusual and fascinating. Gorgug has a similar one, but his is a more natural colour. I’m aware that purple can appear in some tieflings, but I haven’t seen evidence that it appears in your bloodline. Why do you have purple hair?’

There is an arrow pointing to the next drawing labelled ‘later’. Next to the arrow is a doodle of Fig examining a bottle of hair dye. There are notes labelling the doodle. They say: ‘[the hair dye is] flammable and absolutely not going to work’ and then ‘fig will try anyway’.

The last drawing is a bust shot of Ayda. There is a blaze of fuchsia fire at the front of her mohawk, and she is looking up at it, amazed. Next to her is the note ‘+ Lithium Chloride’. On her other side shows a doodle of Fig cheering, pumping her fist in the air. Adaine Abernant and Riz Gukgak are also there; they are clapping and giving a thumbs up respectively. The note above them says that they ‘helped with the chemicals’.

Panel 2: Akechi looks stricken, almost hurt as he stares forward, then flickers to an expression of pure rage, before looking off dejectedly, as if accepting something.
Panel 3: Joker stands against white, a bit worried as Akechi says "... Fine."
Panel 4: Akechi stands in darkness, still looking off to the side, not meeting Joker's eye as his face is cast in shadow. He looks tired as he lowly says "Then tomorrow, I'll go alone.

Wisps of lines overlapping frame the page, as if reality has started to subtlety shift. The panels also start to overlap a bit.
Panel 1: Joker reaches out his hand, confused as he starts asking "Wha-" before Akechi, far away and faceless, interrupts. "Tomorrow, I'll go to Maruki's Palace. And fight him. Even though I don't stand a chance by myself..."
Panel 2: The lower half of Akechi's face is encased in shadow, framed by a static-y darkness as he sweats. "I'd rather be struck down than wither away here."
Panel 3: Joker's hand reaches out further as he pleads "Akechi, if you'd just--"
Panel 4: This panel is separated from the rest with clear, contained borders as Akechi sternly says "STOP." Joker flinches, recoiling his hand back as he looks on, eyes wide and sweating, Akechi's face still hidden save for his mouth.

Panel 1: Akechi's back is to the reader as he adjusts his glove. "...A betrayal for a betrayal," he says. "I suppose I deserve this."
Panel 2: Finally we see Akechi's face as he laughs, his canines looking like fangs as he grasps half of his face. Even as he's laughing with a smile, it's clear that it's pained, wryly accepting his hurt. "This must be part of some penance..!! Hahahaha!!" Joker still tries to call out "Akechi--" as Akechi interrupts with "Joker."
Panel 3: A close-up of Joker's eye as he stares on, looking desperately on as if trying to figure out how to fix it. Akechi continues with "Know that, after tomorrow, the Goro Akechi that saunters through your life..."
Panel 4: The wisps of reality shifting reappear as an Akechi looks down at the body of the real Akechi, face hidden by the dialogue bubble and surrounded in blood. "...will be a hollow replica. The real one will lie dead in the Metaverse, as it should."

Panel 1: In darkness, Joker looks on in a sketchy white outline, sweating and pinching his brow as if resisting something. Beside him is a ghost of Akechi, only showing the lower half of his face, his mouth open as he speaks. "Only this time..."
Panel 2: Akechi finally turns to face Joker, arm held to his chest protectively, framed by the increasing shift in reality and the door of Leblanc. His expression complex but clearly in a masked pain; there's no light in his eyes, his brow is pinched slightly, and his smile is pulled. He has accepted what he has to do, and that this will be his final goodbye to Joker. He's hurt, through and through, as he says "I truly hope your heart rots when you think of me."
Behind him is the ghost of a smiling Akechi, one that will inevitably be made for Maruki's new reality. He mirrors Real Akechi's pose exactly, all save for his gentle, carefree smile.
