Sorry, this is kinda heavy: In my 20s I was so depressed that I decided if I didn't find a reason to live by 30, I would end it. At 29, as a sort of Hail Mary, I explored thoughts of transitioning I had been running from. I found my reason to live, and now at 31 I'm happy & excited for the future!

Twenty-Gun got 10th overall in the Nokia 3310 jam! Very pleased with the results considering a card game isn't something I've done before. My lowest score being in innovation checks out; I *did* mostly just copy an existing card game!

Why do I always make such random choices when it comes to which game jams to participate in? GM48, a niche jam with typically less than 100 participants: "I gotta get in on this!" GMTK Jam, a popular jam with typically 1000s of participants, promoted by a popular youtuber: "Nah, I'll pass."

My game Frighthouse got 9th place in the GM48 game jam! During the rating period I happened to play all three of the winners (flash, Let It Shine, whatever happened to the Blackwells) and can say their placements are well deserved!

I was so touched by all the kind messages I received yesterday. It has given me a lot of encouragement for what will now be a big swing: My next animated project will be the first episode of a gothic horror interpretation of the Nutcracker called "Clara and the Below."
