Dabbler of many things. She/Her

I take zero fucking pleasure in reminding people about this every time, but Lollipop Chainsaw is currently in the hands of some absolute losers and you should not give them your money. You should, however, check out the original 360/PS3 release because it’s a lot of fun! (Source in alt text)

As with the original, the new title aims to recreate a world rich in dark
humor. The development process will prioritize staying true to the distinctive tone and spirit of the original work, without imposing excessive creative restrictions in the name of DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).

New Lollipop Chainsaw game playable at TGS 2026 www.gematsu.com/2026/09/new-...

Brace Yourself Games went to Nintendo and asked to do a Zelda themed DLC for Crypt of the Necrodancer and instead came out of it with Cadence of Hyrule, a completely licensed Zelda game instead. These publishers may be more open to the idea than you think.

with some of these game shutdowns i wonder if they might consider licensing out the assets, brand, etc for someone else to operate, with a revsplit in compensation. sure maybe mandate some rebranding or whatever to protect your own IP, sure. but someone else could run it and make a profit for you.

This shit is why you can't separate continuing to financially support the Harry Potter IP (whether by buying the games, merch, watching the new TV show when its out) from the consequences of what JK Rowling does with that money She's become so stiflingly powerful that even private docs arent safe

I've never seen such an effort to censor a document as I have the Amnesty International report on gender critical groups because of JK Rowling. They removed the report from the Wayback Machine and now I got a DMCA strike on my Google Drive for having it. It was deleted and removed from my account.

A screenshot of an email viewed in dark mode with the subject line "Google DMCA Violation." The email from Google informs the recipient that they have received a notification under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) that some of their materials allegedly infringe on copyrights. It explains the removal process, mentions that notice details will be posted on Lumen, warns against repeated violations, and lists one affected Google Drive URL at the bottom

Every dollar billionaire JK Rowling makes is a dollar she will spend on destroying the lives of trans people - a scapegoating driven by Epstein-class billionaires to distract us from the ultra-rich draining our wealth, killing our planet, sabotaging social cohesion, and destroying dissent.

Reaching out to the Godot/game dev community: I'm trying to look into old school dungeon generation but most tutorials on the matter are based on action roguelikes. I'm looking for something more akin to a turn-based grid system with rooms and doors. More like a dungeon crawler or text-based RPG.
